About Us
Restoring Pequot Library’s 125-year-old roof is underway. The beautiful Ludowici tiles are being replaced, one by one, while repairs from leaks and other weather damage are being made. Our goal is to raise $1.5 million for this essential project. We are already two-thirds of the way there with over $1 million in-hand or pledged. Please help us reach our goal before June 30, 2021—and keep Pequot Library covered! You gift is tax-deductible will make all the difference.

Covering our Romanesque Revival building, the original 125-year-old roof material — remarkable Ludowici tiles — must be replaced. The funds required for this critical project total $1.5 million dollars.
Thanks to early leadership donors and our Roof Fundraising Committee, we are nearly two-thirds of the way towards our goal of $1.5 million to restore the roof.
We have a generous contribution from a former Board member and his wife who will match contributions of $5,000 - $25,000, up to $100,000, in new or increased gifts. Your gift or pledge over several years at that level can be doubled.
