Amani Project is committed to a world where every young person feels like they belong.
We’re a global nonprofit dedicated to using the arts as a tool for young people to recognize their power as changemakers. We believe that when young people feel like they belong, they're more likely to engage in healthy and safe relationships. We also think young people with a sense of belonging will then become active in promoting equity in their communities and work to create a more just world.
To that end, we’ve developed a network of community-based partners with over 10,000 young people who participate and lead our integrated do-it-yourself music-making and social-emotional learning curriculum in their communities worldwide.
This is a guide to the Amani Project ecosystem. Scroll down and stop along the way to learn more about how we came to be and where we want to go, see our partners speak about the Amani Project toolkit, and hear youth participants share their songs.
Communities are donor-driven places where you can connect with other
Givvors, view campaigns and support your favorite cause or organizations. We value your privacy
and the privacy of the other Givvors in this community. We require an initial donation (or
pledge) to ensure the integrity of the community and keep trolls out.
